GetSettld is operated by Actyra. We take your privacy seriously. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Locally Stored Data

GetSettld stores data in your browser's localStorage to persist your preferences between sessions. This includes:

• Saved cities (city slugs only)
• Trip log entries (countries, dates, purpose)
• Playbook progress (which steps you've completed)

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Clearing your browser storage removes it entirely.

Newsletter Subscription

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address to send you periodic updates. We do not sell or share your email with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., which pages are most visited). These tools do not track individual users across sites and do not use advertising cookies.

Cookies & Tracking

GetSettld does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We use localStorage (not cookies) for persisting your in-app preferences. Third-party map tiles (OpenStreetMap) may set their own minimal cookies in accordance with their privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenStreetMap — map tiles for the city and country map views. Subject to the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — typography. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

Your Rights

Since most data is stored locally in your browser, you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or site data. For newsletter subscriptions or any other data requests, contact us at hello@actyra.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were most recently made.
